  8. LA+ Jan 85 Issue reported Version 1.3 of AppleWorks is available.  Among the M
  9. Knew features are it works with the new 3.5 UniDisk and the Apple II Memory $
  10. Expansion Board.  See your dealer.
  11. MGeorge Falk sent some outstanding comments including a recommendation that a P
  12. Nrevised membership list should include provision for COMPUSERVE and SOURCE ID K
  13. INO.  As I don't use a modem didn't think about this but 
  14. wholeheartedly
  15. agree!
  16.   Therefore I have added these questions on info forms contained in O
  17. Mprevious NETRO.NOTES.  If you will again replace the versions of 85.A, 85.B, 8
  18. and 85.C we can catch many people before they respond.
  19. KOn this disk I am including TAWUG.MEMBERS.REV which hopefully does several 
  20. new things:    
  21.      1.  Includes an expanded format.@
  22.      2.  Provides for AW interests and Professional Interests.L
  23. J     3.  Has four (4) SPARE categories for possible additions to the data .
  24. without requiring recreation of all reports.<
  25.      4.  Added provision for COMPUSERVE and SOURCE ID NO.s%
  26.      5.  Added a comments Category.*
  27.      6.  Now has six (6) Report Formats:
  28.           a. MEMBERS FULL DATA  (For printing on 14' Printer in CI=17)L

  40. LSeveral members (including Morton Levy) have commented on BRAC's SLALOM for N
  41. Lsideways printing of DB and SS files.  I have an EPSON FX-100 printer which P
  42. Nis not specifically on their list however it would seem that if the RX-80 and N
  43. LFX-80 models are supported, why not the 100?  In any event I can't make the M
  44. K____ thing work and BRAC doesn't answer mail very rapidly if at all.  Does 
  45. anyone have advice?  
  46. GThis set of memos includes info on several AppleWorks related Software J
  47. Hpackages which are rapidly being introduced.  Looks good for AWUG!   My L
  48. Jcurrent list of such Software follows and I am developing a DB file which O
  49. Mwill provide more detailed info all in one place.  We can then add on as new B

  133. Fdisk.  Routine repetative checks are "memorized."   All types of sort L
  134. Jcapabilities promise to be of great assistance in analyzing expenditures, 
  135. preparing tax returns, etc.

  150. Mreviewed) has struck again!  May be an overkill for many users as AW already I
  151. allows a great deal of flexibility in designing reports, invoices, etc.
  152. IHowever small businesses and any member who uses AW to contact, bill, or P
  153. report to members of an organization could be missing some additional power.  
  154. NThis software can look into any AW DB or SS file (up to 10 other files in any M
  155. KReport) and draw information.  Numerous built-in functions allow automatic I
  156. Gcalculations.  Printer control enhancements allow some boldface and/or I
  157. Gitalics not available for AW DB and SS reports.  Max of 256 fields per     
  158. report.
